Hi folks! I'm unfamiliar with buying glasses and recently identified my seasonal color type through a color analysis test—it turns out I'm a Deep Winter. It's been pretty revealing to figure out which clothing colors really make my skin look its best, but now I'm facing a bit of a new hurdle: how do I apply all this seasonal color theory when picking eyeglass frames? Most of what I read talks about clothes and makeup, but there's hardly any solid advice about accessories like glasses, which feel just as important since they sit right on your face. 
 
For example, I've heard Deep Winters look stunning in jewel tones and cool shades, but should my frames only come in those colors? Or could I consider some neutral or even unexpected colors to mix things up? I also wonder if the frame's finish—glossy, matte, or semi-transparent—has an impact in terms of complementing my seasonal color palette. It's a bit daunting to navigate all the options without accidentally picking something that washes me out or clashes.

But I'd really enjoy hearing from others who have gone through this and found what worked (or didn't!) with their frame colors and styles.
